You may use a standard vacuum with a gentle beater bar on a high pile setting, but suction-only is always the safest option. Polyester fibers are inherently strong but can flatten under repeated mechanical agitation—alternate between beater bar and suction-only sessions.

Stain Treatment

Polyester's hydrophobic (water-repelling) nature means most spills sit on the surface before absorbing. Blot immediately with a clean white cloth. For tougher stains, mix a small amount of mild dish soap with lukewarm water and gently dab the area. Never rub aggressively—while polyester is durable, aggressive scrubbing can mat the pile permanently.

Pile Recovery
