Read It Like a Care Label

Your rug speaks laundry. Five symbols and two lists are everything you need to keep it looking new for years; no special products, no professional services.

  • Machine Wash Cold

    Gentle cycle at or below 30°C / 86°F with mild detergent. For larger sizes, a front loading or commercial machine gives the rug room to move.

  • No Bleach

    No bleach, stain powders, or fabric softener. Mild detergent protects color and fiber.

  • No Tumble Dry

    Air dry only, away from radiators and direct sun. Lay flat or hang in a shaded, airy spot.

  • No Iron

    Wrinkles relax on their own within a day. Smooth stubborn folds by hand.

  • No Dry Cleaning

    Solvents are unnecessary and can affect the backing. Your machine is all it needs.

Spill
happens.

STEP 1

Blot, fast

Press a clean white cloth onto the spill and lift. Never rub; rubbing pushes the spill deeper into the weave.

STEP 2

Dab with mild detergent

Cold water and a single drop of mild detergent on the cloth. Work from the edge of the spot toward its center.

STEP 3

Air dry, then vacuum

Let the spot dry naturally, then vacuum on a low setting. For anything stubborn, a full machine wash resets the rug.

Bought the runner without the fringe and the rug came apart at the seam in the first wash. Also alot of the backing came off s well. Loved the rug but is not really a washable rug.

It’s the right size

It’s the right size. But it’s really not £200 worth of rug and definitely not worth the amount it supposedly was before reduction! It feels cheap. It will do as it’s for the conservatory to stop the dogs slipping on the lino flooring, but I wouldn’t want it in my lounge. The edge stitching makes it look really cheap. The colour is more turquoise than pictured.
