Gentle cycle at or below 30°C / 86°F with mild detergent. For larger sizes, a front loading or commercial machine gives the rug room to move. No bleach, stain powders, or fabric softener. Mild detergent protects color and fiber. Air dry only, away from radiators and direct sun. Lay flat or hang in a shaded, airy spot. Wrinkles relax on their own within a day. Smooth stubborn folds by hand. Solvents are unnecessary and can affect the backing. Your machine is all it needs. Press a clean white cloth onto the spill and lift. Never rub; rubbing pushes the spill deeper into the weave. Cold water and a single drop of mild detergent on the cloth. Work from the edge of the spot toward its center. Let the spot dry naturally, then vacuum on a low setting. For anything stubborn, a full machine wash resets the rug. No wash needed before first use. Color is a bit lighter than pictured. But the washability will hopefully make that ok. We will see this winter. Definitely needs a pad to keep it from moving around.

a good rug, little thinner than i was expecting but i guess for a washable rug of this size that's necessary, the colours are quite a bit more vibrant, I was expecting something slightly more muted but we have got used to the brightness and do like it. I definitely wouldn't have paid the non sale price for this item but happy to pay the reduced amount.
