Smooth stubborn folds by hand. Solvents are unnecessary and can affect the backing. Your machine is all it needs. Press a clean white cloth onto the spill and lift. Never rub; rubbing pushes the spill deeper into the weave. Cold water and a single drop of mild detergent on the cloth. Work from the edge of the spot toward its center.
